Job summary

Catalydd Consulting is seeking a junior QMS Officer to join its Quality / QMS team at the plant. The role involves maintaining IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 documentation and ensuring shop-floor processes align with SOPs and work instructions.

You will participate in internal audits, support customer and certification audits, and coordinate document control and training records. A diploma/BE/BTech in a related field and IATF 16949 training are required, with hands-on exposure to IATF implementation in

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• IATF 16949 Internal Auditor training/certification.
• 3–4 years of experience in QMS/quality documentation in automotive components or Tier 2/3 supplier setups.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 documentation (quality manual, procedures, formats, records).
• Interact with production, stores, dispatch and maintenance to convert shop-floor practice into SOPs and work instructions and ensure adherence.
• Plan and conduct internal audits and track non-conformities to closure.
• Act as day-to-day MR for the QMS; manage document control and prepare management review inputs.
• Coordinate with customers and certification bodies during audits; present documentation and evidence.
