Job summary

Airbnb is seeking a Software Engineer in Quality Engineering to build and maintain automated testing, leverage AI, and integrate tests into CI/CD. You will work with product and engineering teams to improve test coverage across unit to end-to-end levels, and help deliver high-quality experiences for guests and hosts.

You will contribute to scalable testing processes, debug issues, and ensure robust test tooling across the stack in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in software engineering and testing.
• Proficiency in web development languages (TypeScript/JavaScript).
• Experience with test automation and QA tooling.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and code versioning (Git).
• Good communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and effectively utilize automated tests for features and releases.
• Leverage AI and tooling to implement the test automation strategy across the testing pyramid.
• Improve existing automation frameworks and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management and development.
• Troubleshoot, isolate issues, and verify bug fixes across complex systems.
• Contribute to high-quality code and engineering excellence.
