Job summary

Fogelman is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in Collierville to handle rent posting, delinquency management, move-out procedures, and monthly reporting. The role supports the Property Manager with leasing duties and ensures adherence to company policy and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include posting rent, fees, and deposits, pursuing delinquent accounts, and preparing month-end reports. Weekend work may be required while maintaining strong customer service and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as an assistant property manager in the multi-family industry.
• Working knowledge of property management platforms preferred (i.e., Yardi, Entrata, Yieldstar, CRM).
• Property accounting experience, rent collection, eviction process, and delinquency, with strong attention to detail.
• Apartment leasing experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Posting of monthly rent, application fees, deposits and collections received from residents on a timely basis.
• May be required to perform all leasing duties including renewals.
• Collection of monies due after move out due to damages, additional cleaning charges, etc.
• Contacting delinquent residents for payment with a goal of $0 due by month end.
• Filing eviction paperwork and attending court as needed.
• Move out vacating residents in system to assure accurate occupancy.
• Prepare month-end close out reports including Occupancy month end and Statement of Deposit Accounts (SODA).
• Stand in for Property Manager when unavailable.
• Weekend work may be required.
• Adhere to all company policies including safety and Fair Housing.
