Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a hands-on Junior Project Manager to support planning and execution of a large Workday implementation. You will manage day-to-day project mechanics, ensuring plans, meetings, decisions, risks, dependencies, and deliverables stay organized and moving forward.

The role targets 2+ years in project delivery, experience with enterprise SaaS, and coordination across HR, Finance, IT, and partners.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of project-management or closely related project-delivery experience.
• Experience supporting complex, cross-functional technology or enterprise SaaS implementations.
• Experience coordinating internal teams, external implementation partners, and software vendors.
• Strong command of core project-management mechanics, including planning and scheduling.
• Experience coordinating multiple functional and technical workstreams.
• Ability to synthesize complex project information into practical status updates and next steps.
• Proficiency with standard project-management tools and collaboration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the integrated project plan, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and critical-path activities.
• Coordinate day-to-day project activities across HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, Security, Data, Change Management, and implementation-partner teams.
• Schedule and facilitate project meetings, working sessions, status reviews, and decision forums.
• Prepare agendas, capture decisions, assign owners, and follow through to completion.
• Maintain project governance materials, status reports, dashboards, RAID logs, and decision logs.
• Track risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies; escalate with context and next steps.
• Monitor workstream progress and identify conflicts, resource constraints, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Support requirements, design, configuration, data conversion, integration, testing, training, deployment, and stabilization activities.
• Coordinate testing schedules, defect-management, readiness checkpoints, and deliverable reviews.
• Work with Workday partner and internal teams to align responsibilities, timelines, and acceptance criteria.
• Help teams convert discussions into actions, owners, and deadlines.
• Support change-control processes and assess impact of scope/schedule/resource changes.
• Develop concise project communications for stakeholders and leadership.
• Maintain organized project records and ensure teams work from current information.
• Promote consistent project-management practices without excess admin overhead.
