Job summary

RW Dake Construction, a employees-owned specialty general contractor, is seeking a motivated individual to assist Project Managers in conceiving, organizing, and executing construction projects. The role involves learning estimating, bidding, budgeting, RFIs, submittals, schedules, and project close-out activities, while supporting the billing and quality control processes.

• 2 years construction industry experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn company-specific programs and software.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in conceptualizing, organizing and executing construction projects.
• Learn estimating and project takeoffs, bidding, budgeting, RFIs, submittals, and contract forms.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining project schedules and budgets.
• Attend project meetings and review drawings and specs.
• Support billing, insurance, and bonding processes, and ensure quality control.
