Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager I to support the Project Manager on multiple projects, coordinating engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities during development and execution.

You will help develop initial schedules, participate in value engineering, manage subcontractor/vendor scopes, and assist with safety plans, RFI submittals, and monthly financial reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering or equivalent; comparable work experience may substitute.
• 2+ years of construction project experience including planning, scheduling, cost control, and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities during development and execution phases.
• Assists PM in developing initial project schedules with engineering, estimating, and construction management teams.
• Participates in value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Develops subcontractor and vendor scopes of work and schedules exhibits for PM review.
• Supports safety activities, including project safety plan development and incident reporting.
• Assists PM with monthly project schedule updates and management reviews.
• Performs financial reviews and project closeouts on a monthly basis.
• Assists with RFI submittals using QISG's document management system.
• Provides feedback to improve quality of technical, commercial, and administrative deliverables.
• Supports procurement of purchase orders and subcontracts; monitors design, procurement, and construction progress.
• Facilitates project close-out and warranty administration; participates in lessons learned.
• Performs other duties as assigned by PM or Operations Director.
