Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC in Baton Rouge, LA, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager I to support the Project Manager on engineering, estimating, controls, procurement, and construction activities through development and execution phases.

You will coordinate across disciplines, assist in scheduling, engage in value engineering, and help prepare monthly reviews and closeouts, while maintaining safety and quality standards on multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or equivalent field.
• Self-starter and able to work independently.
• Strong problem evaluation/solving skills.
• Understanding of the project design process and integrated EPC.
• Understanding of construction means and methods.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Familiarity with estimating, scheduling, and project management software and processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities.
• Assist PM in developing the initial project schedule with engineering, estimating, and procurement teams.
• Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Develop subcontractor and vendor scopes of work and schedules exhibits for PM review before processing.
• Contribute to safety plan development and incident reporting.
• Assist with monthly project reviews and project closeouts.
• Monitor progress of design, procurement, and construction.
• Support post-construction cost reviews and lessons learned.
