Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC seeks an Assistant Project Manager II in Baton Rouge, LA to support the Project Manager on engineering, estimating, controls, procurement and construction during development and execution. This role may cover multiple projects concurrently and may rotate through operational support groups.

The candidate will assist in project scheduling, procurement, safety planning, monthly reviews, and RFIs, with travel as project needs require and a strong focus on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or equivalent field.
• 2+ years of construction project experience including planning, management, scheduling, cost control, and document control.
• Experience in EPC/design build and Power Delivery industry is preferred.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities during development and execution.
• Assist PM with initial project scheduling alongside cross-functional teams.
• Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Develop subcontractor/vendor scopes and schedule exhibits for PM review.
• Support safety planning, incident reporting, and investigations.
• Assist with monthly project reviews and financial closeouts.
• Support RFIs using the company document management system.
• Provide feedback to improve quality of technical, commercial, and administrative deliverables.
• Assist in procurement of purchase orders and subcontracts; monitor progress.
