Northeast Precast is seeking a Project Engineer I to support production and erection by coordinating project design and answering technical questions with moderate supervision. The role requires collaboration with Project Manager and other engineers to ensure successful delivery.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, managing schedules, attending meetings, and assisting in field repairs. Salary range is $63,000–$71,000 with full-time benefits and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1-3 years in project engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a Project Manager to ensure effective project execution.
• Team with Assistant Project Engineers on projects.
• Review construction drawings and understand precast scope of work.
• Read and interpret specifications.
• Create and maintain precast design schedule and track projects through production and erection.
• Attend and facilitate internal and external project meetings.
• Work with precast engineers to design field repairs per NEP standards.
• Draft RFIs and submittals to clients.
• Review erection drawings for conformance with drawings, specs, NEP standards.
