Job summary

Northeast Precast in Vineland, New Jersey is hiring an Assistant Project Engineer to support the Project Engineer and the team in coordinating precast projects. This developmental role offers supervision focused on gaining experience in project workflows, documentation, and communication within the precast design process.

The position is full-time, salary-based, with a Monday–Friday schedule. Pay ranges from $55,000 to $63,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Engineers in executing precast design tasks.
• Review architectural and structural drawings to understand basic project scope with guidance.
• Learn to read and interpret construction specifications with guidance.
• Help track project progress through design, production, and erection phases.
• Participating in internal and external meetings, taking notes and assisting with action items.
• Assist in preparing RFIs and submittals to clients.
