USA Compression Partners, LP is seeking an Associate Project Engineer, an entry-level role designed for recent graduates to develop technical, operational, and project management skills in the natural gas compression industry. You will work with cross-functional teams to gain practical experience while contributing to safety, reliability, and efficiency.

This developmental assignment offers exposure to facilities, equipment, and capital projects, with opportunities for growth as you rotate

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering related field as listed.
• 0-2 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering projects from concept through execution, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
• Assist with equipment evaluations, system analysis, and problem-solving activities.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, Safety, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams on initiatives.
• Participate in field visits to compression facilities and project locations.
• Analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Prepare project scopes, engineering reports, cost estimates, and presentations.
• Support safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Develop knowledge of compression equipment, facility design, construction, and operations.
• Participate in rotational assignments and special projects.
