Job summary

Actalent is hiring a Project Engineer I in Houston to support capital project execution across LNG, petrochemical, refining, and gas processing facilities. You will coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities, manage documentation, and assist with procurement and vendor coordination in a hands-on EPC setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related field.
• 7+ years of engineering or project engineering experience.
• Hands-on capital project experience in execution, not only design.
• Experience in industrial or energy sectors (LNG, oil & gas, petrochemical, refining, NGL, power).
• Experience coordinating deliverables and schedules across disciplines.
• Procurement and vendor coordination experience.
• Construction/commissioning support experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Onsite work in project environments; EPC familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering deliverables and project schedules to align with timelines.
• Prepare and maintain technical and project documentation.
• Manage document control for engineering records.
• Facilitate communication between disciplines, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Track action items, deliverables, and follow-ups.
• Support procurement activities and vendor input for materials/equipment.
• Participate in project meetings and client discussions.
• Assist with construction support and commissioning preparation.
• Collaborate with project teams on large EPC projects.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to deliverables and schedules.
