Job summary

EFCO Corp. is seeking a Project Engineer 1 to create visual representations of EFCO products for manufacturing and construction. The role supports engineering teams, requires CAD familiarity, and offers growth toward FE/EIT certification.

You will draft layouts, prepare equipment lists, and collaborate with cross-functional staff to ensure project requirements are met. Travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• Up to 2 years of professional or construction experience.
• FE (EIT) certification or international equivalent required before advancing.
• Familiarity with Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD).
• Travel may be necessary.

Responsibilities

• Draft preliminary layouts and engineer contracted and presale projects.
• Prepare equipment requirements for projects.
• Under guidance, supervise specific project tasks and collaborate with other key personnel to meet requirements.
• Apply mathematics and technical skills to ensure designs meet quality standards and customer needs.
• Support other engineering positions within EFCO as needed.
