Job summary

EFCO Corp. seeks an entry-level Project Engineer 1 to prepare visual representations of EFCO products for manufacturing and construction. You will support other engineering roles and work from our Orlando, FL location, with some travel.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in engineering and up to 2 years’ experience; FE/EIT certification is preferred before advancing. CAD proficiency is expected to enable accurate designs and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• Up to 2 years of professional or construction experience.
• FE (EIT) certification before advancing to higher engineering levels.
• Familiarity with Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD).
• Some travel is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Draft preliminary layouts and engineer contracted and presale projects.
• Prepare equipment requirements for projects.
• Under guidance, supervise specific project tasks and collaborate with other key personnel.
• Apply mathematics and technical skills to ensure designs meet standards.
• Complete required training and learn EFCO drafting and engineering standards.
• Communicate effectively to ensure adoption of standards while fostering innovation.
