Job summary

LONG Building Technologies is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support building automation and temperature controls projects in Englewood, CO. You will work with Project Managers to coordinate schedules, manage documentation, and help ensure projects stay on time and within budget.

This full-time role offers exposure to design coordination, procurement, cost tracking, and customer communications, with opportunities to develop leadership and technical skills in HVAC and controls systems.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience in construction administration/HVAC.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to read construction drawings and follow project plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with project coordination, scheduling, and documentation.
• Maintain project documentation including scope, plans, submittals, RFIs, changes, and meeting notes.
• Support schedules using MS Project and coordinate with engineering, procurement, and field teams.
• Monitor costs, track committed and pending costs, and escalate variances as needed.
• Participate in project meetings and distribute status updates and action items.
• Support closeout activities including O&M docs, as-builts, and training coordination.
