Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Entry Project Controls Specialist to join our Project Controls Team. This role supports planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and project performance on projects of basic complexity.

The ideal candidate will understand schedule progress, cost forecasting, and earned value reporting, with familiarity of Primavera and EcoSys. This is a hybrid position requiring travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; equivalent related experience may be considered.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• US citizenship required due to federal contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supports compliance with internal procedures and federal regulations.
• Gathers project progress information to update and monitor the project.
• Develops time‑phased project cost and resource forecasts; validates costs.
• Performs earned value management reporting and basic financial analyses.
• Documents and assesses impact of project changes on baselines.
