Hatch is seeking a dynamic Junior Project Controller. Reporting to the Project Delivery Group, you will support offices globally working from our Pittsburgh, PA office location.

Qualifications:
- Roles at this level are filled by recent or soon to be university/college graduates with little or no professional experience but possessing relevant skills
- Preferred bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, engineering, construction management, or relevant discipline
- Minimum of a cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
As the successful candidate, you will:
- Gather and updatesite information into GIS systems
- Managecontractors'payment applications
- Set upandmaintainthe project timesheet system including the establishment of Time Charge codes and associated WBS structures and budgets
- Set upandmaintainperformance measurement system including the establishment of baseline estimates (hours and costs), work hour and progress curves
- Collect and collate progress information, actualworkhours
- Generate,checkand distribute project reports including liaising with responsible managers to resolve any issues relating to the quality of the reports. Potential issues include the accuracy of actualworkhoursand progressdataand the quality of the current estimate at completion
- Maintain all staffing plans for the EPCM team
- Maintain, in consultation with the relevant department and discipline leads, the forecast hours to go and/or estimate at completion based on performance to date and the project staffing plans
- Managechange registers, development of changenotices from identification to approval
- Ensuresthat the EPCM services budget and forecast are aligned with the project change and trend registers and provide input to these registers as appropriate.
- Develop andmaintainengineering schedules at the work package level
- Maintainkey dates of the engagementsin the performance measurement systemas per the engagement schedule
- Gain valuable on-site practical experience
You bring to the role:
- Tertiary qualification in business administration, engineering, construction management or relevant discipline or appropriate project related experience
- Ability to learn systems (SAP, ERPs, Arc GIS)
- Able to travel to construction sites in the city of Pittsburgh
- Hands on knowledge of planning tools (Primavera P6, MS Project)
- Knowledge of earned value concepts
- Knowledgeofcost management concepts(budgeting, forecasting, costflows, change managementand estimating)
- Previous co-op or internship experience is an asset

- Support preparation of drawings from detailed notes and specifications
