Whalen Search Group's client, a growing leader in the automotive aftermarket, seeks a Product Manager or Junior Product Manager in Myrtle Beach, SC. This onsite, full-time role offers ownership of a product portfolio and development across key categories.

You will collaborate with sales, marketing, engineering, and operations to research trends, define requirements, and monitor performance. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Qualificações

• 0–2 years of relevant experience, including internships or co-op experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required.
• Demonstrated ability to work with spreadsheets, formulas, data analysis, sorting, filtering, and large datasets.
• Automotive aftermarket experience or exposure strongly preferred.
• Experience with an automotive retailer, parts supplier, manufacturer, or related organization is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand automotive products and applications.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Motivated, curious, and eager to learn.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.

Responsabilidades

• Support new product development from concept through launch.
• Research market trends, competitive products, customer needs, and industry opportunities.
• Identify and evaluate new product opportunities and potential product gaps.
• Analyze product, pricing, sales, and market data using Microsoft Excel.
• Develop product requirements, specifications, and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, engineering, purchasing, and operations.
• Support product launches and go-to-market initiatives.
• Monitor product performance and assist with recommendations for improvements or additions.
• Maintain accurate product information, pricing, and related documentation.
• Stay current on automotive aftermarket trends, technologies, and competitive activity.
