Job summary

Kelly is seeking a Junior Process Automation Specialist to provide technical support across Manufacturing/Packaging/Facilities in a pharma-driven environment. The role emphasizes troubleshooting automated systems, PLCs, SCADA/HMI, and instrumentation within a GMP setting, with emphasis on QA and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Electronics or Computer Science.
• Three (3) years in an industrial environment with two (2) years in automation/production maintenance in pharma manufacturing.
• Experience with Allen Bradley controllers and Rockwell Automation platforms preferred.
• Knowledge of process control and automation systems (PLCs, SCADA/HMI, DCS, interfaces).
• Strong databases and networking knowledge.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, P&IDs and one-line diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Manufacturing/Packaging/Facilities/Utilities operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve automated, electronic, and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Implement preventive measures to assure equipment reliability in GMP environment.
• Ensure compliance with Security, EH&S and cGMP requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors/customers as needed.
