Job summary

Itaú USA is seeking a Junior Private Banker to support the growth of a key client portfolio in the private banking division. You will work with the advisory and product teams to tailor proposals, deepen relationships, and enhance the client experience.

You will identify opportunities, conduct client needs assessments, and ensure compliant processes, including documentation like W8 and KYC updates. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus for serving diverse clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in business/financial services.
• Finra Series 7 license required.
• Strong knowledge of private banking investments, products and services.
• Proven sales and relationship-management capabilities.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support expansion of the private banking business by generating and following up on leads with existing and prospective clients, and assessing and delivering on banking, investment, and wealth planning needs.
• Identify and deliver suitable banking products and services after conducting in-depth client needs assessment and analysis.
• Collaborate with the investment and advisory team, product experts and other areas to maximize client experience and referrals.
• Meet and exceed client expectations by delivering exceptional service professionally and promptly.
• Maintain disciplined account management practices with regular reviews and necessary documentation (W8, KYC updates).
• Identify sources for prospects and define a method to maximize client acquisition efforts.
