The Jackson Laboratory is seeking a Preclinical Technologist I in Sacramento, CA to support pre-clinical studies across oncology, neurobiology, and autoimmune areas. You will perform basic procedures, enter data, and help maintain lab environments under supervision.

The role requires a BS in a relevant field (or a HS diploma with 2+ years in a lab/animal setting), excellent communication, and the ability to work in a team and adapt to shift schedules including weekends/holidays.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in a laboratory/animal care field or related discipline.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to exchange information clearly.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills; adaptable and flexible.
• Ability to follow SOPs, policies and regulatory procedures.
• Experience with animal handling and preclinical environments preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Technical execution of basic procedures per study requirements and SOPs.
• Accurate data entry in lab IT systems and databases and maintain documentation.
• Assist in training to perform procedures to proficiency levels.
• Lab maintenance including sanitation, organizing spaces, and monitoring equipment.
• Assist with other duties as needed by the preclinical team.
