Electric Power Systems, an established NETA-accredited electrical testing and engineering organization in Overland, MO, seeks a Power Systems Studies Engineer I. You will support analyses, calculations, field data collection, and documentation to deliver safe, reliable power solutions for utilities and industrial facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical power system studies including short-circuit, coordination, and arc flash analyses for low-voltage systems.
• Perform engineering calculations such as cable ampacity, voltage drop, equipment evaluation, and protective device sizing.
• Support settings development for low-voltage breakers and simple relays under supervision of senior engineers.
• Review drawings, one-line diagrams, vendor submittals, and specs for accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with field investigations, data collection, and project documentation.
