Ideal candidates have 0–1 year in power distribution engineering or GIS/CAD; an associate’s degree is preferred, with a bachelor’s in a related field acceptable.

Qualifications

• Regular experience required.
• Associate or 4-year degree may be required based on client/project requirements.
• High school degree or GED required; associate/bachelor's preferred in related fields.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Evaluate loading on distribution equipment and understand utility construction practices on ROW/private land.
• Prepare project packages with materials lists, labor estimates, and drawings.
• Use design software and work management tools to support assignments.
• Communicate job status to meet client expectations and deliverables.
