Job summary

Barrette Workforce Solutions, LLC is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support large-scale construction projects, primarily data center-focused, with travel to client sites. This 100% onsite role requires coordinating with project managers, subcontractors and clients to keep projects on time and on budget.

You will assist with estimating, planning, change requests, reporting, and documentation. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to read drawings

Qualifications

• Experience in coordinating construction projects and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders including clients and subcontractors.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications and understand project scope.
• Familiarity with budgeting, cost tracking and billing processes.
• Proactive problem-solving and change management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in estimating project scope and costs.
• Manage project expectations and execution of subcontractors.
• Maintain project documentation.
• Track project expenses and budget.
• Prepare progress and status reports.
• Communicate with clients and subcontractors.
• Attend and participate in project coordination meetings.
• Research and prepare change requests to resolve design issues.
• Research and recommend solutions to design document problems.
• Monitor field/contract work for compliance with standards and codes.
• Assist with submittal and RFI processes.
• Assist in early completion and tracking of billing.
