You will assist in the installation and repair of plumbing systems while learning from experienced technicians and maintaining safety standards. Travel is frequently required to job sites, and the role typically entails a 40-hour workweek in a full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-4 years of plumbing-related experience.
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Adherence to OSHA safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist with rough-ins by measuring, cutting, and threading pipes (PVC, PEX, Copper) and installing hangers and supports.
• Help assemble and install sinks, toilets, water heaters, and other plumbing fixtures.
• Support diagnosing leaks, clearing blockages, and performing routine preventive maintenance.
• Read basic blueprints and diagrams to determine the layout of water supply and waste systems.
• Maintain a clean job site, organize tools, and adhere to safety protocols.
• Work alongside other trades to avoid conflicts with building infrastructure.
• May instruct and mentor others on the job site.
• Gather, collate, and classify information.
