Job summary

Petco is seeking a Junior Pet Stylist in Grooming to start their career in pet care. You’ll learn bathing, drying, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning under seasoned groomers during Weeks 1–10 of our training program.

You’ll work in a salon environment, assisting with appointments, maintaining a clean space, and delivering friendly customer service to pet parents. This entry-level role supports weekends, evenings, and holidays, with competitive base pay and benefits

Qualifications

• No experience required or 0-1 year animal related experience preferred.
• Genuine passion for animals and willingness to learn grooming basics.
• Availability to work weekends, evenings and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Assist in bathing, drying, brushing, and nail trimming under supervision.
• Ensure safe handling and well-being of pets during grooming.
• Maintain a clean grooming area and assist with scheduling and records.
