Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. invites you to begin your Petco Grooming Career as a Junior Pet Stylist in Grooming. This ten-week training covers bathing, drying, nail trimming, and other essential grooming tasks with hands-on guidance from experienced groomers.

Qualifications

0-1 year of animal-related experience, including shelter volunteering or pet sitting
High-school diploma or GED is preferred, though not required
Genuine passion for animals and grooming
Basic understanding of dog breeds, behavior, and grooming practices
Effective verbal and written communication with pet parents and team members

Responsibilities

Under supervision, perform limited grooming tasks including bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning
Ensure the safety and well-being of every animal in the salon
Interact professionally with pet parents and provide excellent customer service
Maintain a clean, safe grooming area and sanitize tools and equipment
Schedule grooming appointments and maintain grooming records
Learn and follow Petco grooming policies and guidelines
