Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a PeopleSoft Developer to support design, development, implementation and ongoing support of multiple PeopleSoft applications. You will create technical designs, configure applications, and test changes against requirements.

Responsibilities include production support, tier 2 assistance, and coordination with client teams. Requires TS/SCI with poly, 1+ year PeopleTools, and strong SQL skills; a relevant degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field or equivalent years of experience.
• Active/Current Top Secret clearance minimum with ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI with polygraph.
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills for design, creation and testing of software.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with customers and team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• At least 1+ year of development experience in PeopleTools I & II (Application Designer, PeopleCode, SQR).
• Strong functional experience in SQL and in the full PeopleTools suite (Fluid components, Application Packages, Classes, Engines, Integration Broker).
• Experience with design/coding languages and software design principles.

Job description

• Work on multiple projects supporting the design, development, implementation, and ongoing support of multiple PeopleSoft applications
• Create technical design specifications
• Assist with configuration of applications software
• Analyze, code, and test new software and changes to existing programs from design specifications
• Test and validate finished products against functional requirements
• Generate complete and accurate documentation according to program standards
• Provide production support for the customer's PeopleSoft applications, including program analysis, testing, and system enhancements
• Provide support outside normal business hours when required
• Assist the customer with tier 2 application support
• Interact and communicate with external clients and internal client teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related quantitative field, or equivalent years of experience
• Active/current Top Secret clearance minimum with the ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI with polygraph is required
• Good analytical and creative problem-solving skills for design, creation and testing of software
• Good interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
• Good communication skills to interact with team members and senior support personnel

• Functional experience in one or more of the following modules: PeopleSoft HCM, Supply Chain, Enterprise Learning Management, PeopleSoft Financial
