Job summary

Cyber Defense Technologies is seeking a Junior Penetration Tester to support a government customer onsite in Denver, Colorado. Candidates with OSCP certification are highly recommended to apply.

The role involves basic reconnaissance, vulnerability scanning, and reporting findings while leveraging scripting basics and network knowledge. An active Top Secret/SCI with CI poly clearance is required for consideration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years of relevant work experience OR an Associates Degree with 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's Degree with 0–2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in cyber security with focus on red teaming, penetration testing, or threat hunting.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic recon and vulnerability scanning following established testing methodologies.
• Identify common vulnerabilities, document findings, and report results.
• Possess basic scripting abilities and understand network fundamentals and scanning tools.

• Possess basic scripting abilities and an understanding of network fundamentals and vulnerability scanning tools.
