Job summary

JURISolutions seeks a Junior Paralegal for a hybrid multi-year contract with a government client in Washington, DC. The role involves supporting all phases of case preparation, including discovery, trial, and legal research.

Required are 2+ years paralegal and litigation experience, a Bachelor's degree, and a Paralegal Certificate if the degree is not legal. Proficiency with Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, LexisNexis and Westlaw is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of paralegal experience including 2 years in litigation.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited school; paralegal certificate if degree is not in legal field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and legal research tools (LexisNexis/Westlaw).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, organize, and summarize materials for discovery, motions, and trial.
• Review documents for relevance, privilege, and accuracy.
• Summarize depositions, transcripts, and case materials.
• Conduct comparisons and trend analysis.
• Maintain and track case files, exhibits, and discovery documents.
• Assist with legal research and draft memoranda and correspondence.
• Prepare spreadsheets, charts, and document compilations.
• Conduct FOIA requests.
• Support scheduling and recordkeeping processes.
• Provide general administrative and case support as needed.
