Job summary

W-Industries is seeking a Junior Industrial Cyber Security Engineer to support, develop, and guide cybersecurity across industrial and control-system projects. You will work with engineering teams to ensure solutions meet client requirements, safety standards, and regulatory codes.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, testing, and tooling for OT cybersecurity, with opportunities to collaborate on design, reviews, and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, cybersecurity, or related technical discipline.
• Coursework or concentration in cybersecurity, networking, or control systems.
• 0–2 years of experience in software development, networking, or cybersecurity (including academic projects, internships or CTF).

Responsibilities

• Support development, testing, and improvement of software and tooling for cybersecurity projects.
• Contribute hands-on to engineering activities per project strategy.
• Analyse network information to support security decisions.
• Collaborate with leaders and project managers on design, review, and troubleshooting.
• Participate in design and code reviews with technical input.
• Support testing and commissioning to ensure solutions operate as intended.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and security standards.
• Document work clearly and accurately.
