Working alongside senior analysts, you will help develop security assessments, support foreign visitor management, and deliver threat awareness training to directly safeguard critical heavy-lift naval aviation assets.

Responsibilities:
  • Apply basic knowledge of OPSEC principles to assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining the program-wide OPSEC plan to protect sensitive government and industry activities.
  • Support the creation of OPSEC Surveys and Assessment Plans. Assist in conducting site assessments and compiling data to produce formalized security findings.
  • Provide operational and administrative support for U.S. Government-hosted foreign national visitors, ensuring strict compliance with physical security and information control guidelines.
  • Assist in the development, coordination, and delivery of OPSEC training materials and threat awareness briefings for program office personnel.
  • Review program outputs, public release requests, and shared media under guidance to prevent indicators and critical information from being inadvertently exposed to adversaries.
Qualifications:
  • Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance to access the airfield and military installation.
  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited institution.
  • 0 to 3 years of experience in information security, physical security, risk analysis, or defense program operations performing the functional duties described above.
  • Familiarity with basic DoD security concepts, information control processes, or NAVAIR program office settings (prior internships or introductory defense industry experience is a plus).
  • Strong analytical reasoning, precise written communication, and excellent interpersonal skills needed to interface with program personnel and visitors.
