Job summary

Applitrack's Orono Community Education program is seeking Junior Olympic Volleyball Coaches to develop youth players in grades 4-8 within a competitive athletic framework. The season runs from November through March 19, focusing on skill development and competition.

Coaches will hold 2 practices per week (Mon/Tue and Thu evenings) and participate in 5–6 weekend tournaments. Collaboration with the Youth Sports Coordinator and effective communication with staff, parents, and students are essential.

Qualifications

• Understanding of fundamental skills and strategies.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience in collaboration with others.
• Understanding of the role of parent involvement and the ability to collaborate with parents.
• Commitment to supporting the whole student/athlete in athletic competition, academics, and in character development.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching and instruction to youth volleyball players (grades 4-8).
