Job summary

Responsibilities include supporting marine system development, designing moorings and subsea cables, and maintaining oceanographic instruments. A B.S. in Ocean Engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude with problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience with basic data plotting and analysis using Python, MATLAB or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support marine system development from concept to testing.
• Design and fabricate oceanographic moorings and subsea cables.
• Maintain and operate oceanographic instrumentation.
