Job summary

Akira Technologies is seeking a Network Operations Engineer to join our NOC in Norfolk, VA. This onsite role supports a DoD client and requires active Secret clearance or higher, with responsibilities around Cisco SD-WAN and Palo Alto firewall management to ensure high availability and security.

The successful candidate will design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure, monitor performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams within NAVFAC and the Network Operations team.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance or higher.
• 3–5 years of Systems Engineering experience with system issue analysis and risk management.
• 3–5 years in network support/administration or equivalent education/training/experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Cisco SD-WAN solutions.
• Configure and manage Palo Alto firewalls.
• Monitor network performance and security across the DoD environment.
• Collaborate with NAVFAC and Network Operations Center teams.
