Job summary

Ampcus, Inc. is seeking a Network Security Analyst II in Austin, TX to monitor, detect, investigate, and respond to security events across on‑premises, cloud, and endpoint environments.

The role requires hands‑on security operations experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, NDR, and incident response platforms. You will develop detection rules, dashboards, playbooks, and queries, support threat hunting, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve security posture while following regulatory

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of cybersecurity, network security, security operations, or related role.
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel including incident management, analytics rules, workbooks, automation, data connectors, and KQL.
• Experience with SIEM for log analysis, alert investigation, dashboards, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts, logs, network events, endpoint telemetry, and threat intel feeds.
• Analyze suspicious activity and SIEM events to determine scope and response actions.
• Perform incident triage, investigation, escalation, containment coordination, and documentation.
