• Experience conducting and documenting risk assessments and supporting documentation.
• Working experience in security as an Information System Security Officer.
• Minimum of a Security + or equivalent certifications required.
• Experience working with critical timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementation and management of the TxDOT Secure SDLC processes.
• Coordinate implementation of system security plans with personnel and vendors.
• Advise management regarding security configurations and procedures.
• Research and recommend systems for prevention of data security breaches.
• Participate in IT disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

Skills

Knowledge of common information security management frameworks

Experience conducting and documenting risk assessments

Experience as Information System Security Officer

Security + or equivalent certifications

Excellent written and verbal communication

Fluent in the English language
