Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Network & Telecommunications Engineer to maintain and improve the enterprise network that supports hospitals, offices, and clinics. The role is onsite with a Monday–Friday schedule, 9am–5pm, and requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of IT experience.

Cisco CCST or higher certification within the first year is preferred. You will work with multiple IS departments and vendors to ensure stable connectivity, while following established designs and change

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 1 year IT or networking experience.
• Proficiency in verbal and written communications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical performance of network systems across the enterprise.
• Monitor performance and drive resolution of network issues.
• Support networking systems with IS departments and vendors.
• Implement routine network changes under guidance of senior engineers.
• Install network components and participate in infrastructure projects.
• Follow change management processes and resolve help desk tickets.
