CompucomStaffing is seeking a Junior Network Engineer to join the team onsite in Miami, FL. You will install, troubleshoot, and upgrade Cisco networks, manage documentation, and support site changes using Cisco Prime, Visio, Jira, and ServiceNow. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced IT environment.

The ideal candidate will have Cisco routing/switching knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work onsite in Miami. Competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with Cisco routers and switches in enterprise networks.
• Ability to troubleshoot network issues including cabling and hardware configuration.
• Experience documenting network layouts and configurations.

Responsibilities

• Install Cisco-based networks (Routers/Switches) in office environments (Catalyst C3650/C3850/C3560/C9300).
• Troubleshoot and fix network problems including wiring or hardware configuration issues.
• Rack and stack Cisco switches in standalone or stack configurations.
• Upgrade Cisco IOS via TFTP/FTP or console port.
• Configure interfaces, hostnames, passwords, VLANs, SSH, and IOS upgrades.
• Run Cisco Prime reports and gather data for site changes.
• Maintain Visio network site drawings.
• Update project schedules in JIRA and Excel.
• Enter change tickets in ServiceNow.
