Job summary

MGM Resorts International is hiring an entry-to-mid-level Associate Network Services and Architecture professional to support network documentation and future-state designs across our global hospitality and entertainment operations. You will assist senior architects in mapping environments and maintaining design artifacts.

You will contribute to documenting current networks, diagrams, and roadmaps, collaborating with network engineering and security teams to ensure accurate production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of experience in enterprise technology, documentation, or related field, with 3+ years in network engineering, network administration, or an associate architect role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Cisco, Palo Alto, and Juniper, plus basic cloud networking across AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with documentation/diagramming tools including Visio and Lucidchart; strong attention to detail.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Architecture Documentation: map and document current network architecture across properties and data centers.
• Design Documentation: assist in creating and maintaining LLD and HLD documents for deployments and migrations.
• Future State Mapping: draft and visualize future network architecture roadmaps and blueprints.
• Diagram Maintenance: maintain repository of network diagrams and workflows using diagramming tools.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: work with network engineering, operations, security, and cloud teams to reflect production environments.
• Network Improvement: help develop and implement improvements to efficiency, reliability, scalability, and costs.
• Documentation & Process Improvement: identify gaps and propose improvements to standards and review processes.
