Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas seeks an Associate Network Services and Architecture professional (Junior Network Architect) to support documentation, design, and evolution of our network across properties and data centers.

You will map current environments, assist in Low-Level and High-Level Design, draft future roadmaps, maintain network diagrams, and collaborate with network engineering, security and cloud teams to drive reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 1+ years in enterprise technology, 3+ years in network engineering/architecture roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with networking fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper and cloud networking across AWS, Azure, OCI, GCP.

Responsibilities

• Architecture Documentation: Map current network architecture across MGM Resorts properties and data centers.
• Design Documentation: Help create and maintain LLD and HLD documents for deployments and migrations.
• Future State Mapping: Draft and visualize future network roadmaps and blueprints.
• Diagram Maintenance: Maintain network diagrams and workflows using Visio, Lucidchart, etc.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with network engineering, operations, security, and cloud teams.
• Network Improvement: Support improvements to reliability, scalability, and cost.
