Job summary

Everforth ECS, based in Idaho, seeks a Junior Network Administrator for our Pocatello office. You will design, implement, and support LAN/WAN networks to meet changing needs for a mission-critical environment.

You will assist agents and professionals with secure, reliable network access and participate in after-hours maintenance as required. Candidates should have 1+ years of experience, relevant certifications, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Technical certifications (Network+, CCNA, CCNP or equivalent) required.
• 1+ years of experience supporting application personnel.
• Strong problem analysis and documentation skills.
• Experience in a business/enterprise network environment.
• Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN and network hardware.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and implement complex LAN, WAN, and WLAN network systems.
• Develop specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.
• Monitor and analyze network utilization patterns, including bandwidth and application usage.
• Assess future needs of statewide education networks and Internet services, recommending upgrades or configuration changes.
• Provide instruction, mentoring, and technical guidance to team members and clients on network technologies and protocols.
• Monitor network performance and execute maintenance, operations, and troubleshooting plans.
