Job summary

NYC School Construction Authority (SCA) Information Technology Division seeks a Junior Full Stack .Net Developer to join a software development project team, building scalable web applications with .NET, Blazor, ASP.NET MVC5, and SQL Server while adhering to a standard set of tools and architecture.

The candidate will be a key member of a core development team, participating in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, and collaborating with project managers to ensure client

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience developing professional applications using Microsoft.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology, Information Systems Technology, or related field.
• Construction Industry Experience is preferred.
• Proven experience with .NET (C#), ASP.NET MVC, and web technologies.
• Familiarity with UTP: REST, SOAP, XML, JSON and data integrations.
• Experience with MS DevOps on Azure and unit testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop distributed and scalable web applications using .NET, Blazor, ASP.NET MVC5, and SQL Server.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle with project management oversight.
• Contribute to design and architecture discussions and documentation.
• Collaborate with managers to ensure client expectations and project schedules are met.
• Analyze requirements, design, code, test, and support end users.
• Maintain and upgrade existing applications according to the target architecture.
• Contribute to UAT, environment setup, and end-user support.
• Report activity and update project status using SCA tools.
