Job summary

NYC School Construction Authority is seeking a Junior Full Stack .NET Developer to join a software development team and deliver scalable web applications. You will follow a standard toolset and architectural guidelines while enhancing existing systems and contributing to SDLC activities.

The role emphasizes collaboration with project managers, application directors, and end users to meet client expectations and keep schedules on track.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of hands-on experience developing professional applications using .NET and C#.
• Strong knowledge of ASP.NET MVC5, .NET Core 2.0+ and Blazor.
• Experience with SQL Server, REST, SOAP, XML/JSON data interchange.

Responsibilities

• Develop distributed and scalable web applications using .NET stack.
• Contribute to design, architecture, and code reviews for projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and end users to gather requirements.
• Create/modify stored procedures and data access layers; ensure tests are written.
• Support deployments, UAT, and post-go-live maintenance.
