Job summary

Advantage Design Group in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking an early-career Software Developer I to write production C# and .NET code for our Advantage Orientation and HR Engage platforms. You will work with senior engineers, learn by doing, and grow toward .NET Senior roles.

This full-time, hybrid role starts onsite with two remote days per week after ramp, offering mentorship, internal training, and a clear career path as you contribute to features across SQL Server, frontend pages, and our

Qualifications

• Up to two years of professional software development experience.
• Working knowledge of C# and object-oriented programming.
• Basic understanding of .NET and ASP.NET (MVC or Core).
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Experience using Git or another version control system.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write, test and maintain production code in C# and .NET with guidance from senior engineers.
• Build and update features across SQL Server, front-end pages and the platform.
• Take part in code reviews, learning from feedback and providing thoughtful input.
• Join system design discussions and learn the team’s architecture decisions.
• Troubleshoot issues and document learnings for the team.
