Job summary

University of Baltimore is seeking a Junior Software Developer for the Center for Public Safety Innovation. You will develop in-house software using Microsoft.NET, MVC, and C#, and work within an Agile/SCRUM environment to deliver reliable solutions.

You will collaborate with senior staff to analyze requirements, design use-case scenarios, create unit tests, and write comprehensive technical documentation. A Secret clearance may be required for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
• Experience with Microsoft.NET Development platform and C# is required.
• Experience with MVC/.NET Core and SQL Server is expected.
• Ability to work in an Agile/SCRUM environment and produce technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop in-house software using the Microsoft.NET platform (C#, MVC, .NET Core).
• Work within an Agile/SCRUM framework to analyze requirements and perform testing.
• Collaborate with senior staff and system architects on use-case scenarios and unit tests.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including API docs and system diagrams.
• Prepare and execute test plans across unit, usability, regression, and functional testing.
