Job summary

The University of Baltimore’s Center for Public Safety Innovation is seeking a Junior Software Developer to join the Software Development Unit in Baltimore. The role focuses on developing in-house W/B HIDTA software, supporting databases, and producing analytical outputs.

You will work in an Agile/SCRUM team using MVC.NET Core, C#, HTML, JavaScript, and Microsoft SQL Server. A Secret level clearance is required and a background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2 years’ experience with the Microsoft.Net development platform.
• Strong knowledge of C#, MVC.NET Core, HTML, JavaScript and SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Develop in-house software within the Microsoft.NET platform (C#).
• Work within an Agile/SCRUM framework.
• Use MVC.NET Core, C#, and Microsoft SQL Server to build solutions.
• Analyze requirements, code, and test applications pre-release.
• Create technical documentation and process diagrams as needed.
• Collaborate with senior developers and system architects on use cases and tests.
