Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated Junior Software Developer to join our team in St Inigoes, MD. This onsite role contributes to design, development, and maintenance of Navy combat identification systems and IFF interfaces.

You will work with an integrated development team through all phases of the software life cycle, supporting fielded and future systems and collaborating with project leads to deliver reliable software solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in software development.
• Applied experience with C/C++ and Java.
• Experience working in an agile development environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct innovative software development solutions for Navy identification systems.
• Design, develop, integrate, and test combat systems software.
• Analyze technology gaps to research, develop, and deploy software solutions.
• Collaborate with developers and leads to define deliverables.
• Perform integration, testing, bug fixes, and maintenance activities.
• Assist in creating technical docs and user guides.
