Job summary

TMB, Inc seeks a Junior Acquisition Analyst to support NAVSEA’s PEO Ship’s Team Front Office in Washington, DC. The role requires 1–3 years in Navy acquisition processes and DoD procurement practices, with strong communication and organizational skills. Candidates must be a U.S.

citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance and proficiency in Microsoft Office. The analyst will assist in acquisition planning, documentation, and execution, prepare leadership briefings, and maintain program data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience supporting U.S. Navy Acquisition programs.
• Familiarity with DoD acquisition lifecycle documentation and terminology.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must be a United States citizen.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance.
• Proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and TEAMS.
• Ability to travel up to ½ mile one way for meetings.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support NAVSEA Team Ships Front Office Acquisition activities.
• Develop acquisition strategies and milestone documentation.
• Coordinate with program sponsors, divisions, and leadership.
• Prepare briefings, reports, and materials for senior leadership.
• Assist with unplanned, short-notice requirements from the Director of Acquisitions.
• Maintain and update databases and related documentation.
• Schedule and organize meetings, events, and off-sites.
• Support program reviews and milestone decision discussions.
