Job summary

Morgan Business Consulting is seeking a Junior Acquisition Analyst to support the U.S. Navy’s Shipbuilding and Conversion and Navy Modernization programs. The role is hybrid, requiring three days per week at the Washington Navy Yard.

The position demands active Secret clearance, a US-accredited bachelor’s degree, and 3+ years of relevant experience, with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Occasional travel and certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree from a US-accredited university.
• 3+ years program or project experience.
• Experience supporting 30-year Shipbuilding plans.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage data calls for cost estimates, phasing plans, and task planning sheets.
• Manage and oversee acquisition systems, programs and platforms.
• Collaborate with Navy organizations such as OPNAV, SYSCOMS, warfare centers, and Fleet stakeholders.
• Travel domestically and internationally to provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain required certifications and security clearances.
